xigmatek-logo1In the third of our Xigmatek cooler reviews, we are going to take a look at the new and improved S1283, the Red Scorpion.

The S1283 has been a massive success for Xigmatek, combining bargain pricing with great performance.  The Red Scorpion sports a new look with nickel plated heatpipes as opposed to the bare copper ones found on the older model and also a new and rather shiney LED fan - more on that later.

The red Scorpion sits in the upper/mid range bracket of coolers as far as Xigmatek's line up goes, just below the Achillies which we have also reviewed this week.
