Default BIOS Fix For DFI Boards with HD 4870X2 Issue - Download Here!

Here is a fixed BIOS for the HD 4870x2 issue.

As with all beta BIOSes, use at your own risk, I do not accept any responsibility for any loss or damage as a result of using these beta BIOSes.

Please make sure you choose the correct one for your board.
  • LT X38-T2R --> X38AD807.ZIP
  • DK X38-T2R --> X38DD807.ZIP
  • UT X48-T2RS --> X48CD807.ZIP
  • UT X48-T3RS --> X48BD807.ZIP
Added these 22-08--08.

Update latest BIOS for DK/UT/LT X38/X48 series.

Major Reasons of Change:

1. The system can't display when DFI X38/X48 series with ATI HD 4870 X2 Graphic card.
2. Added ABS profile version control for UT/LT X38/X48 series.

  • LT X48-T2R --> X48AD820.ZIP
  • DK X48-T2R --> X48DD820.ZIP
  • DK X48-T2RSB Plus --> X48FD820.ZIP
  • LT X48-T3R --> X48GD820.ZIP

Some users are losing the use of their IDE optical drives because of this BIOS. Seems to be mainly an issue with the X38 chipset based boards.

Seems to be any brand IDE optical drive. Nobody has said anything about hard drives not working. Could be because they aren't being used. Doesn't seem to be affecting the X48 chipset though.

my ide hdd stopped workin on x48 after bios update. but i used the raid+ide option for it. Should be working with normal ide option.
