p5e and maximus pencil vdroop mod

so i got this great board well
it was kinder poop at the first cus of the vdroop on it but i bit of serching i found this
Use a HB / 3B / 4B pencil, 2 or 3 strokes only
go here for a few more tweaks and tips on p5e and maximus

i used this mod on my p5e and can now get 1.420v by setting 1.425v so this pencil mod comes highly recommended. i like the sig death did you do that in photoshop.....

Is the mod dangerous in any way (provided i connect the right tracks :P)? I think it is easily undone, would alcohol be ok?
Is it true that it turns off the EPU chip?

well ya there's danger with any mod to do with overclocking... I've never done a pencil mod but I did do that safer route and found out what I needed to change the resistance to and then just replace or double mount the smr's

but I feel this is easily undone with erasers... lol all it is, the conductive lead... just make sure you got good enof cooling (witch is a given)
