Today we are going to take a look at the new Noctua NH-U9B SE2 CPU Cooler. This is a small tower cooler equipped with two NF-B9 92mm Fans.

This cooler comes complete with Noctua's mounting kit that provide support for Intel LGAs 775, 1156, and 1366, as well as AMD support.

With a height of 125mm, this cooler is fairly low profile and will be of interest to people with or contemplating HTPC builds or other small enclosures.

Although it is slightly taller than the NH-C12P SE14 that we recently reviewed, that is a "downward firing" cooler so to operate to its optimum, needs some space above the fan for intake airflow. The NH-U9B SE2 should work well in an even narrower/lower enclosure.

Let's see how it performs...

About Noctua:
Noctua have created a great reputation for creating effective fans and coolers, whilst at the same time managing to keep noise within acceptable levels. They make no compromise on quality and consequently their products are in the premium end of the market.
