Thermalright Venomous X CPU Cooler Review.

Thermalright, a brand synonymous with high performance CPU cooling solutions has been quiet for a while, but now they are back with an all new successor to their massively successful heat sink, the Ultra Extreme 120 (or TRUE). For a good couple of years, the TRUE held the undisputed crown for high performance cooling, it's only in the last year or so that other manufacturers advancements have overshadowed the TRUE and edged it out of the limelight. Of course, that's not to say that it was any less great than before, but in the cut throat world of cooling, a few centigrade here and there with certain types of fans can be make or break for a product.

Following on from the Roccat Vire and SteelSeries 5Hv2 USB Gaming Headset reviews, today I'll be looking at something that falls in between the two of those - the Speedlink Fellow Compact Gaming Headset. The Speedlink Fellow has the all features of a full size gaming headset, yet is compact, fairly lightweight and comes from the same line as the Medusa gaming headset and the Competition Pro USB joystick. As it retails for around the sub £30 mark (€29.99 rrp), the Fellow seems to be aimed at the budget end of the headset market, but does a budget price always mean budget performance? In October last year, we took the CoolIT Domino A.L.C out for spin, unfortunately, the performance was less than expected when running an i7 CPU, especially given the £75 price tag. 2010 brings a couple of completely new units from CoolIT, and today, we are going to take a look at their ECO A.L.C. model.

Today, we are going to take a look at the NH-C12P_SE14 CPU Cooler. If the heat-sink looks familiar, it's because we reviewed it previously as the Noctua NH-C12P Low Profile CPU Cooler back in July 2009. There it was paired with a NF-P12 premium 120mm fan, the new NH-C12P_SE14 instead comes with one of Noctua's NF-P14 FLX 140mm Fans, which is a 140mm model with 120mm and 140mm mounts.

There's a lot of buzz around the Mini ITX format at the moment with the likes of Zotac and DFI leading the way in the motherboard market, and, until recently, there wasn't a great deal of choice in the case department if you wanted a reasonably well ventilated and good looking case. Lian Li have brought their Mini ITX offering to the table in the form of the PC-Q07B, it offers the ability to use a standard sized ATX power supply and optical drive, but manages to squeeze the rest of the gear into a space the size of a couple of small shoeboxes!
How will the PC-Q07B perform? Read on to find out...
