MSI, leading manufacturer of mainboards and graphics cards, today launches its N285GTX SuperPipe 2G OC graphics card. The MSI N285GTX SuperPipe 2G OC is not only powered by one of the most powerful GPU’s in the market – the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285 – but also has 2GB GDDR3 RAM and is based on MSI’s exclusive SuperPipe Technology and Twin Frozr thermal design. This pre-overclocked graphics card dominates the market with peak performance in both graphics and cooling efficiency.
2GB memory
MSI N285GTX SuperPipe 2G OC has double the memory size of graphics cards with reference designs, suiting the needs of the latest DirectX® 10 games. With 2GB memory, MSI N285GTX SuperPipe 2G OC satisfies the gamers’ desire for high frame rates and fast performance.
MSI SuperPipe Technology
The MSI N285GTX SuperPipe 2G OC is equipped with MSI’s SuperPipe Technology. It comes with 8mm thick heatpipes, which are 60% thicker than traditional heatpipes. These thicker heatpipes transfer the heat very quickly from the GPU to the fans. The thicker the heatpipe, the faster it can transfer the generated heat and this improves the thermal efficiency by 90%.
Twin Frozr dual-fan MSI N285GTX SuperPipe 2G OC has a Twin Frozr dual-fan thermal design that cools down the GPU and other components (such as capacitors and memory). Through the combination of SuperPipe and Twin Frozr dual-fan designs, gamers can truly experience the N285GTX SuperPipe's cool and fast performance.
