MMMH it can give you a good OC no doubt about it, expecially now that i see this new test.
I gotta admit that 72 C poked me in the eye a little since my cooler, once it reaches max load temps, doesnt get much far from there, no more than say 2 C.
But if the average was in the low sixties i think it's good, expecially since you look like the kind of guy who changes CPU every 6 months tops

I don't know why they didn't ship it with the XSF-F1251 eXTreme Ultra Quiet Case Fan. Been impressed with it so far.

Useful review btw SS, cheers.

Think looking at the specs the correctly imo went with a PWM fan which compliments the Intel PWM CPU Fan header. There's a Molex adapter included for AMD Think the included fan has a slightly higher CFM

Looking at the XSF-F1251 I just got it said 72+ CFM so I spose it's similar spec and nowt in it in real world terms, I know I've clocked the XSF-F1251 reading 1750 rpm

The fan spec is:-
Adda 1212DX Ultra Low Hypro Bearing
800-1500Rpm
72.1-99.6Cfm
2.6-4.8 mmH2O
Noise Level 20~32 dBA
4 Pin with PWM
The Fan
The Cfm is off the back of the Xigmatek box , i read it as a minimum of 72.1 to a max of 99.6Cfm

I tried the yate after seeing the relatively low speed 1500 on load. The Yate shaved another 5C off. (Test1 to Test2)

Any idea what the tech specs of the loonies are? I have found a few different models, but none of them look as good as the Xigmatek.....

see Test2) Specs of loon are shown there. I would say that someone's specs are a little out , seeing as the loony took 5C off, when both were on full power .

Yep it's surprising how dodgy some of these specs are
