Just taken delivery of these
Cellshock

CellShock are a German Company producing very well engineered High performance memory. Warranty is 5 Years , which in fairness, whilst not being a lifetime is plenty long enough for the next DDR revision

This particular kit is using Micron Chips.

The Pack

Each Module is inserted tightly into a plastic blister pack, which stack on top of each other in the box.

Some clumsy bugger made a right rickett's of opening the box

It's a nice box design with the square box formers giving a lot of strength to the pack.

The Modules

Like the DDR2 set I had last year Cellshock don't stint on the heat spreaders, their far superior to any that i've seen anywhere.

Looking forward to it.... these modules already have a cult following amongst the overclocking elite... If it's not too much to ask, could you bench these with a vMem that you consider safe for daily use and see how high you can go with CL6... I'm thinking about hopping on the DDR3 bandwagon and I might grab one of these while I wait for the X48-T3R.

Well will get back to this hopefully sometime next week. Have had a number of stability issues last week. Checked memory early on was ok, checked drives & CPU just about sorted saturday. Sunday played up again memory failing on auto settings so RMA time. Not even pushed that hard

I was hoping DDR3 might be a bit more hard wearing.

If anything its more flimzy cause it's on smaller process
