Oooooh, very nice chip, you're tempting me to try and push mine further..... not really tried much on this board (P5B Deluxe) and it's supposed to be a good 'un.....

I was about to say 'thanks for the link but I should be okay', but I think it's Tony Bigtoe isn't it, so it may be worth a read after all..... his info is usually top-notch. Thanks for the link anyway mate! Overclocked this board a bit, and this chip on other boards so I think I'll be okay, but you can never have too much info.....

System is rock solid at 3.6Ghz 1.4v vcore passing 12 hours of o.c.c.t

Would appear 0502 Bios is slightly slower than 0402 Bios

0402 Bios Run 3.5Ghz Superpi 1m 778Mhz 5-5-5-12 Result 14.719s

0502 Bios Run 3.5Ghz Superpi 1m 778Mhz 5-5-5-12 Result 14.766s

that's quite a bit of hardware you're killing there.....2 sets of ballistix and a mobo......doesn't look good does it?

That P5E looks a nice mobo, perhaps you can go easier on the parts this time.......or find out what you're doing wrong first........since so many failures cannot always be attributed to poor quality.

Nice review, best of luck
