Hey there. This seems really interesting

Would you mind telling me how much you payed for it and the unit's level of noise?

Thanks.

What kinda price are these going for? I had a Prommie back in the day and I'd love to get back into Phase Change again! Regret ever selling it now!

..........................results?

4ghz? 4.2ghz? 4.5ghz

I'm gagging to get one of these babies but I can run 3.6ghz-3.8ghz with 4100mhz cpuz verified on AIR.

I'm hoping someone can show us 4.5ghz at -30c or lower so I can finally press the button on the order

You can find my results in the DFI X38 thread

4704Mhz @ -43c

CPU-Z Validator Database

Edit: Would love to see the screenies for a G0 4100Mhz prime stable on air cooling

well send me your new cooler and I will, I'll freeze the HSF for a day first, lol

4100mhz is cpuz verified not prime stable. Besides I thought you were gonna show us 4.5ghz with a q6600 or sumthin' instead of devolving your pc and using an e8400. We all know those do 4100mhz-4300mhz on air as it is so sadly your 4700mhz (which no doubt is as prime stable as my phenom is at 4ghz) isn't helping me decide to purchase. I've been reading up on those SS units and seemingly they have trouble keeping a quad cool enuff. Have you tested your quad....have you still got it?

I can't get my head around why you'd wanna go with a DC over a QUAD anyhow.

Any chance of you putting the quad in there if you still have it?

M

That's a lot of assumptions there

As you may or may not know, my quad has finally degraded enough not to go above 470ish now, regardless of the cooling, so rather than buy another one, I grabbed the E8400 to tide me over.

The quad results are in the DFI thread, as are all the rest of the E8400 results.

As for the single stage not keeping the quad cool, you have obviously been looking at the wrong ones

By the way, will your phenom do 4Ghz at all?
