Hey I thought I'd join you guys in this forum.... im using windows 7...

First thing I found a blue screen error that is microsoft software... If you have a xbox 360 controller(wired) and you unplug it at the quick release spot you get a bluescreen. funny that there both microsoft...
I want to report it but theres no feedback on this ver. So it may go unnoticed... another thing is I HATE UAC!

Im using version 7000, i have no issues to speak of bar not being able to play COD4 on it.
However COD5 works fine.
RC1 is due for release at the end of this month, i would suggest either using 7k or waiting for RC1.
If RC1/7k are no use to you then yes i woud suggest moving to Vista x64.

Sry, I didnt mean to suggest 7068 has got problems, i have not used it, but I have/am using 7000 with barely any trouble to mention though.
I know AJW had some issues with a later version of win7 (might have been 7068) and it maybe that there are bugs, i really cant say.

The COD4 problem in 7000 is an API error that will prolly only get fixed when Activison have to fix it, im sure they have no intention of supporting a beta OS.

If you want to use more than 3GB of RAM then yes you do need x64.

hope you get it going the way you want soon.

Anyone know how to remove the Windows Boot Manager thing that gives you the option of choosing which OS you want to boot, once you have removed W7 and have just one OS available?
