One stupid question. I have P180 Mini with this mobo and I want to put an ZeroTherm FZ120 heatsink. I wonder if it fits? It will be to large? Please, i could use some help, don`t wanna lose money.
So, is JR P45 T2RS too small for an FZ120?

I haven't used that heatsink, so can't honestly comment. But to give you an idea, a Xigmatek Achilles fits on there without any problems.

Achilles is 120 x 60 x 159 mm and FZ120 is 126 X 61 X 156 mm ... Than it should fit with no problems, theoreticly. Again, thank you very much.

Hi. I want to buy p45 chipset mainboard but I am vacillate between 3 board.Gigabyte EP45 extreme, Asus maximus II formula or Dfi lan party.What is your recommendations?And what is the difference between DFI Lanparty JR P45-T2RS MATX and DFI LanParty DK P45-T2RS PLUS? Thanks for everything..

Welcome to the forums

The JR is an MATX board and is basically about 2/3rds the size of the DK P45. It will fit in any standard ATX case though.

I haven't used the Gigabyte P45, so can't comment there, sorry

I am debating whether or not to get this mobo for my upgrade. I'm getting the Intel q6600 for the processor and an ATI Radeon HD 3870. One potential flaw I see in this board is if I don't use the crossfire. If I only have one video card the PCIe x16 only runs at x8. Do you think this board would still be good with one video card or do you suggest getting another, and if so which one?

Welcome to the forums

Keep in mind that it is a GEN2 8x slot, so I don't think there are any cards yet that will use the full bandwidth.

GEN2 8x = 16x PCI-E 1

The other thing is, as you are going for a quad core CPU, you might be better off taking a look at models with a beefier PWM section although it does depend on the type of overclocking you intend on doing.
