The bloodrage does look like a really good board, but foxconn is going the way of abit and shutting down the motherboard division. In 2 months I would be in the same situation I am in now, board with out any support. Sinking ships are better to never board. Too bad, I was really excited about getting it too.

Foxconn is now an Intel preferred partner for ODM boards , so I don't think they're going to stop production soon

Interesting, I will try to find the link of where I saw my info. I believe it was on this site....I think

foxconn-retail-go-way-abit.html
So I am not entirely sure what is going on with them, still puts me on edge about getting one of their higher end boards, i do not want to pull that trigger until I am sure the board I get will be supported.

you have to be clear that foxconn work in 2 sectors 1) OEM , which will include Intel ODM boards. They are the largest OEM supplier on the planet. This sector is strong and will continue. 2) Retail or channel business. This was set up relatively recently & every couple of months there are rumours of it's closure. Foxconn Retail to go the way of Abit The analysis is right, it's probably due to foxconns inexperience in the retail market.

So that is still no support once they close the retail side right? NO warranty's or bios updates right?

i would expect should they shut , warranty will be maintained though what the replacement might be is uncertain, but no support or bios of course.

Doesn't look like Foxconn is shutting it down, I think I will be getting one. Just need to find a killer deal.
