Hi Humble,
Welcome to the forums THe Bios I am hosting are really early BTA bios, official ones can be had from Abit's official site. Have been busy with a good few mobos since this review, so am not in touch with the latest BTA Bios, so the lack of update.

Johnny , will be happy to host the bios for you, if you want, up to you. Send me a PM if you want me to & we'll sort it.

another things is, as you mention the DRAM ratio 1:1.25, sorry for that i only overclock E8500 to 3.4Ghz only so no settings i have try, so maybe you can try it when you get the BIOS.

my e-mail address is johnnywcw@hotmail.com
Thanks for your offer. An email had been dispatched to your inbox just now. I'm waiting for the file.
Surely, I'll try it ASAP when I get the new BIOS. But I rather pesimistic that abit engineers have already fix it.
Well, soon we will know about that...

And a little input about your E8500, I think you actually can push its clock higher to "serve" your HD4870 X2 even better. Even my crap E8400 can reach 4 Ghz easily with this board only by raising a little Vcore.
Sorry for my rudeness...

Wow, thanks for your warm welcome mate.
I can understand your situation. Thanks for considering that.
Oh, and I also read all of your mobo reviews alongside with Clunk's here. One of the best I think, being a good reference for deciding to buy a new mobo. X58 mobo review soon perhaps?
Always keep up the good work.

The file had been downloaded completely. Thank you mate for the great help.

Oh, almost forget one thing. If you don't mind, may I ask for your permission to share this BIOS file to my friends that need it for their IX38 + HD4870 X2 too? They surely will be very grateful for this file too.
Thank you.

Good to heard that, btw that is no problem at all, you can share to others. I still hope the final BIOS will release soon.

Looks like you have a memory issue . Is it stable ?

thanks Sir for the information.

I'm using Corsair DHX DDR2 800 2GBx4, i have use memtest86+ tested before no single error have report. and play games few hours also no problem too.

or maybe is because i overclock it now. i heard 8GB no stable for overclocking.

but this only happen when resume back from Standby (S3), i don't have any problem with 8GB boot-up to windows vista so far.

so i think the best is back to default speed.

Memtest86+ isn't always a complete test, as it doesn't run in or emulate exactly windows memory usage. I always suggest using Memtest HCI as well. Neither tool is foolproof (see the next post on ), but HCI is more likely to detect errors in windows. I'd suggest you run that for a couple of hours .

thanks for the advice, i ran the test yesterday about 11pm till this morning 11am, opened 3 MemTest HCI windows test 2048mb (300%) each and 1 MeTest HCI windows for all unused RAM (1100%).

non of 1 windows have report error, so i think should other things cause problem.
