MCH 1.25V VOLTAGE is fine some people go up to 1.60v, Max i'ver used i think is 1.55v

For top page DDR2-1064 (2:1.00)
Try MCH 1.25V VOLTAGE.................. - 1.35V ---> 1.40v
also ICH 1.05V VOLTAGE.................. - 1.05V --->1.12v
CPU GTLREF 0+2..................... - 67% --> 68%
PU VTT VOLTAGE.................... - 1.25V

On the bottom 333 MHz was this the one that ran ok or did it still fail after a time ??
If it still failed try upping the MCH

Or did this just fail when changing strap to 1:1.50 1000Mhz mem speed if so try :-
Code:
Code:

DRAM TIMING SELECTABLE............. - MANUAL
CAS LATENCY TIME (TCL)............... - 4 -> 5
RAS TO CAS DELAY (TRCD)............. - 4 -> 5
RAS PRECHARGE (TRP)......... .......... - 4 -> 5
PRECHARGE DELAY (TRAS).............. - 12 -> 15
REFRESH CYCLE TIME (TRFC)........... - 30 -> 35
WRITE RECOVERY TIME (TWR)......... - 3 -> 4
WRITE TO READ DELAY (TWTR)........ - 3  -> 4
ACT TO ACT TIME (TRRD)............... - 3  -> 4
READ TO PRECHARGE (TRTP)............ - 12
COMMAND RATE....................... - 2T
PCIE Root Port Function............ - V1.0A
PEG FORCE X1....................... - DISABLED
INIT DISPLAY FIRST................. - PCIEX

thank god something is

It seems that your ok running 1:1.20, 1:1.25 but nothing else
Could be we've just not managed to plug in the right settings, straps are poor , or your ram is failing.
I probably asked earlier but are you using the corsair memory cooler on your ram??

It might be worth sharing your memory issues
Corsair Support Forum There may be some input there that will help which we've not picked up.

I've resigned myself to the fact that I need yet another RMA.

Pulled all connections other than power using the new PSU, and OMG it posted! I figure ok, cool, maybe I had a pin off on a usb header or something. I hook up the "old" PSU, power on and get infinite 90 to 99 loop again. DOH! I pulled the battery, got some dinner, put the battery back in, same problem. Hooked the new PSU back up, OMG it posted! So, I'm wondering if it's a bad BIOS or the old PSU at this point. I had my DOS usb stick at the ready and flashed to b09. Flash ended at C1, but it did post again. I set things up in a default config, save and exit BIOS, and it again goes into the 90 to 99 loop. AAARRRGGGHHHH!

I'm going to see if Newegg will take pity on me and let me get a different board.

After getting to the c1 stage , try pulling battery after now. may be final piece now. couplw of hours with battery is preferable to another rma delay

luck

I bought 1066ghz ram 2gid (1x2) and can not get it to go above 816,
is my CPU to slow to run the ram higher or does that have nothing to do with it.
My computer Specs

Abit IX38 QuadGt mobo
8800 XFX gt 512
2gig 1066 ram,
Pentium D 3.2 ghz CPU
ultra xfinity 600watt PSU

I am trying to learn to OC and copied Supershanks advice to KAras for the momory but it still is not above 816 Mhz, tried single sticks with same results.
any help or advice would help alot.
feel like giving up on this MOBO, still have the CD bios BC- 11
