Default 9x425

Now the straps on 12.09 & 12 Official seem to be working better i thought i'd play with a few options that haven't been available earlier. Thought i'd start with 9x425 @1:1.25 running my memory at stock.

results are good. with cpu running at 3,825 compared to 3,760 on my 8x470.
CPU-Z Validation

3DMark06 Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600+NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS 320MB/640MB

Will prime it overnight & see how it goes, will post settings then. If ok i'll carry on up, maybe 435.

Muhahaha
Sorry was purely coincidental.

Was just priming & it took a dive & rebooted. Wouldn't boot up. Thought it was the C1 error back. Checked & post code was 50H which is USB error. Removed usb pen drive & it's away again. It's the 2nd time this has happened with 12.09/12 the 1st getting sorted after the C1 error.
So looks like a new thing to look out for

What raid have you got??

Thanks for the heads up.
Getting Areca 1210, I get stuttering described in the post here, post #3, item 3:
Simviation Forums - Clean FSX, Acceleration, SP1 & SP2 Install!

Sure hope this will be a cure, pilots license would have been cheaper though.

Yeah, got to spend all my money before I die.
I have a pair of Seagate 320GB's to begin with and there will be another pair when I free them up, I'm getting the 4-port card which has 256MB on-board RAM & battery backup.

Angry Help!

Posted this over at xtremesystems, figured I try to increase my chances of resolution....

OK, guys, I need some help. Hooked up my new replacement IX38 today, and about 3 seconds after power on, it turns off. It does this in an infinite loop until I kill the power. I've tried everything I know, going to 1 stick of RAM, triple checked the power connections, removed the RAID card, no change. Is this mobo DOA?

Assuming the motherboard is ok, it sounds like a PSU problem.

Is this the same fault as the last one?

The first board had the screaming PWM's. The PSU is a PCP&C 750. I have a second 750 for another build that I can try though....
