Hi olliewbnn, just been talking to nordien on xtreme who has exactly the same issues as you & sent an e-mail Sorry i'd not caught on earlier
Must be your brother

Yes I tried 500 ibn bios & from 491 in xp using the guru OC screen, no way atm.

Haven't pushed memory to much yet, to be honest.

Yep I'm wanting some of those clips i'm wanting to try mobo in case on water but with using higher fsb will put up pwm temps, so no way i'll leave them passively cooled.

glowball that's i good idea, Just use the plate as an adapter 4 holes for the mobo oles + 4 holes to the aftermarket cooler/block, it's dependent on clearence between board & plate to secure nut/fastemers.

Well i fitted the Abit into my case this afternoon. Managed to put a 60mm fan over the PWM Area.

I managed to wedge it between the back of the case and the water block Bolt. Could do with a couple of longer bolts & i could bolt the fan over the pwm & an 80mm or 60mm over the northbridge.

I missed the significance of this pic Clunk took.
If you look at the bottom you can see the mounting bolt holes for the 40mm fan. The top appears to have holes at the side for wire retension clips.

Have Emailed Abit asking about the clips having had no feedback from Abit Hexus support.

if they were mistakenly left out at the packaging stage then abit EU probably won't have any either because the IX38 QuadGT has a unique PWM hs & they'll probably have to come from Taiwan.
Sean has said that he's looking into - faith & patience required.

Thanks I'll try, PWM isn't bad but i've no active cooling on NB. Think Faith , hope & charity have all played a part so far

Still things aren't looking bad, got Matrix Raid set up & running. Had issues yesterday with a drive being flagged faulty, updated drivers (latest on Intel's site) & it seems ok.

Original Error

Highlighted Drive 1

With new drivers today 7.8.0.1013

Only really have the Keyboard Freeze & the Off HD iD issue, really.

I browsed over the technical page you linked to but it must have been in another language as I didn't understand too much.

Can you (in layman's terms) describe to us how to go about adjusting the VTT & GTLRef voltages. I am confused by, you have listed your BIOS settings for 3204 and later 3600, in the former your CPU GTLRef's were at 63% - below the standard and for the latter they were at 69% - above the standard.

Any tips about making these adjustments, thanks.

Sorry the 3200 settings were interim as i started exploring.
Values i ended with were 1.33v VTT & GTLREF 0+2 68% 1+4 67%

Will try & post a guide later

May have spoken too soon about the Raid.
Have had two incidents where the raid verify was triggered, on both occasions results were:_

I had no errors at all on the gigabyte, so i'm wondering if it's connected to Drive Detection

Have deleted raid 5 stripe & going with raid0 will see how that fares. I just don't want these false alarms cutting in.
