Thanks glowball, I've usually got it from xtreme but the links broken.
Suprised at Extreme, sorry should have checked the version. The New Mersenne Prime! site shows the same version as Extreme Prime95 - 24.14 as you say karas, it timesout anyway

hope your still running

Uguru or coretemp, don't forget Uguru cpu temps are nonsense unless your on 12.08

If your drives are plugged into the Intel sata ports then go into bios Integrated Peripheral - Onboard PCI Devices - Storage Controller - Change to[ Disabled]

should sort it

Hi guys I'm back again

I think I have settled on which clocks/voltages I wish to run my gear at LOL.

355FSB x 9 (3.2GHz) VCore 1.325V
Strap 1:1.2 (852MHz) VDimm 2.15V Timings 4-4-4-12

Prime95 Blend and SmallFFT's give stable results.

Can I please ask your advice on my temps and memory?.........

1) SmallFFT's give me max temps of about 65°C. Is this within limits?

2) My RAM is rated 5-5-5-15 @ 1066MHz 2.15V
Am I OK running it at 4-4-4-12 @ 852MHz 2.15V?

3) Blend is stable at 4-4-4-12 @ 852 1.8V also.
Is there a risk my RAM might fall over at that lower voltage?
Should I find a happy medium somewhere between the 1.8V and 2.15V?
What are the consequences of running the RAM at 2.15V as opposed to 1.8V?
It is that Corsair Dominator stuff with the heatsinks so will I be OK temperature-wise?

Thanks guys

wtf.. now that's wonderful.. I don't know what I did, but CPU-Z doesn't work anymore :/

"an error occurred when opening the driver"

I just created few partitions, placed the pagefile/temp folders in the second hdd and done few other things I don't recall.

It can't be a bios related problem.

I have no idea O_O

Are you running kaspersky or something like that, which blocks permission to files? If so, you need to allow it

Thx, but no.. I've found the "problem" lol.. I've thought changing the path for temp files on "Environment Variables" would copy all the temp files automatically on the new path.. yeah, well, it's not so.. I do LOVE Xp after all (read: hate)

EDIT: by the way thanks for the OC guide, i think im gonna follow it :P just a question.. on my ix38qgt the multiplier for ram PC2-8500 is "1:2.00 (DDR2-1088)" ? why 1088 ? *_*
