PCI Express Clock.. the VGA was seen as 4x.. now 16x it's
It happens but tends to impact gfx performance not stability or the issues you've had. The board does seem to be liable to dmI data corruption it's not unique, usually happens when overclocking or bios entry errors, whatever the reason the failsafe solution seems to be pull the battery. using the button to clear cmos or even the jumper is not as effective.

now it's stable at 266fsb
What tests have you done & how long

I'd try 1:1.20 now & see how it goes, if ok you can then start upping fsb.

if you get your usb drive sorted try Bios Flashing Procedure
luck

lol, you are right, i haven't done any test yet XD but i mean stable as it reboot properly and all seems to work xD

i'll test it now.. uhm.. with which application ? I mean.. Orthos is for CPU, Sisoft Sandra 2007 for RAM ? Others ? thx

Well.. thing is, just leaving out the battery has done nothing.. it went "stable" as i upped the pcie clock and the mobo recognized the vga as 16x O_o

by the way.. pcie clock @110 mhz can damage the SATA hdd ?

ok, tried to reset the pcie clock to default (100mhz) and it didn't boot: post code 9.0.. then the mobo automatically reloaded the previous working settings.. with clock = 110mhz.. and all works fine :S

use Prime95 - 24.14
for Quads it stresses all 4 cpu cores orthos only does dual cores. run blend to check both cpu & memory. small ffts stress cpu , large memory.

ok, i'll try.. it's normal that at idle the CPU temperature seen on the uGuru utility differs from the ones in Core Temp ? I mean.. uGuru = 17°C, COre Temp = 28/28/26/24 °C O_o

oh, i see, thanks

durin the prime95 blend test.. is correct so ? just 30% of cpu usage ?

EDIT: tried to open 4 processes (as illustrated here), but just 1 cpu works, the other 3 aren't. All goes to page file :/

I think SuperShanks may have linked you to the version that requires multiple instances of Prime to be running.
Prime95 v25.5 - Freeware Files.com - Utilities Category
Try this one, click on Just Stress Testing, then Cancel, click Advanced and tick Round Off Checking, click Options then Torture Test... and off you go.

Edit: Oops, Clunk got in first.
