This past year it seems more and more that buggy software and problematic hardware is being released to the public, sales over quality. Let's hope 2008 will be better for us.

If you play the lottery then this may be a good MB for you.

Yep it's been good for me , nothing startling but runs ok. I'm running 470x8 24/7 now. Which is the highest stable clock i've had on any board. Bios wise should only get better.

there have been beta bios released fairly regularly, see start of this thread.

This is no difference to Gigabyte GA-X38-DQ6
The last official bios released was F4 2007/09/19 all subsequent ones with an alpha character at the end are bta bios.

No, becuase there was time when things worked out of the box and when Britain was Great (Edit: and made things themselves), it's becomming the norm now to release an unfinished/bodged product and hope to have a fix for it later. In most cases we can only hope to have a fix come out before they release their next new product - otherwise we're stuffed, get pi$$ed off, buy a replacement and so the process begins again.
Even if they did release a good working product, the majority of us would still upgrade sooner or later because that's what we do - the difference being we would be happier customers and not keep jumping ship.

My carer says I need to get back into my bath-chair now then get some rest.

Ehhh tha's going back a bit now

No your right though, understand where your coming from.

Yep DDR2 £ are crazy now, not much incentive to go ddr3. was just saying elsewhere ddr3 is the £ we were paying in Jan for DDrR2 8000 kits, but with £ like you just showes well.
