How much drop are you seeing from what you set in the bios ?

All so, do you have a screenshot of that bios page ?

Thinking about it

I'd like to try my hand at some CF benching and I'll need a 16X16 board for that.
I was holding off for X48, but with Intel holding back the chips It looks like I'll have to go X38. And the new bios seems to bench a bit better so I'm back looking at this board again.

Think you've got 2 choices this or the DFI Lanparty LT X38-T2R The package is a disappointment with this but the actual mobo ain't bad clocking wise., but you may find it's only the crossfire that gives you a gain over your p35-Pro.

luck

Yeah CF is about the only reason I'm even thinking about it (that and it would be something new to play with)
One thing thats a little worrying is I can't seem to find anyone that has gone sub zero with it.

So I take it your quite happy with yours now ?

Reasonably still a few bios issues need sorting, 1:1.25 strap over 400 is unstable. It'll do till something better comes along

That's exactly my thoughts, reading around the forums there's so many folk that are having problems with this motherboard right from the start - you would at least expect to install it and run stock without any problems, it must be very frustrating for some.
People seem to be having some very different experiences with this board, what will work for one may well not work for another. If you play the lottery then this may be a good MB for you... but then chosing your CPU is just as much as a gamble trying to get a good clocker.

This past year it seems more and more that buggy software and problematic hardware is being released to the public, sales over quality. Let's hope 2008 will be better for us.
