Think you could safely try M704B_12.B05 or 12.06
12.05 has the downside of vcore not sticking i'm happy at 12.06.

luck

I tried the things you mentioned, VTT upped and MCH a notch or two, no difference.
I had to increase Vcore to 1.415 and it was stable at 3.5GHz [390 *9] for 8.5 hours, before core #3 flaked out.

It was the temps that has made me rethink, 65Deg....is this not too nice??
In my AMD clocking past, this temp was the edge of tollerance and not to be broken, still the same rules apply here?
What should my working max temps be for my Go SLACR?

Just in case I do damage, I have gone back to 3.45 GHz but can be used all day every day max temp 58 Deg

Hi m8

have a look at this post 9x400 12HR Prime Stable I ran that on air using the thermalright Ultima90 as show. I used Core temp to track my temps through the run & the summary is shown here:-

I'd personally be fairly comfortable with those temps. Don't think i'd want to go much higher. Like everything it's up to the individual.

I find it worth noting if it failed on a small FFT or a Large fft. If small the error tends to be cpu related, large tends to point to memory.

Coretemp uses a log file C:\Program Files\CoreTemp\Temp Log.log if you delete it before running core temp, when it runs it creates a new one. so before you end your primer run stop core temp & the data is all in the file. Copy it to a spreadsheet & do the Math.

luck

hmm, ok here is what I found from the various results / log files

Prime Results:

[Sun Dec 23 04:52:46 2007]
Self-test 2048K passed!
Self-test 2048K passed!
Self-test 2048K passed!
Self-test 2048K passed!
[Sun Dec 23 05:08:01 2007]
FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.5, expected less than 0.4
Hardware failure detected, consult stress.txt file.

Self-test 2560K passed!
Self-test 2560K passed!
Self-test 2560K passed!

As for Temps:

3.5 GHz * 1.41 v 8 hours prime

Temps C1 C2 C3 C4
Min(°C) 34 34 32 32
Max(°C) 67 67 65 65
Ave 59 59 57 57

I guess they are a little high in peaks but the average is nice.

I can't tell from the Prime file what the fail was due to on the single core...can you ?
This was a blend test (whole system) but not sure what the test was, 2048K or 2560K (small or large ??)

Anything => 1024k is large.
Might be worth while revisiting memory timings or increasing MCH to give the memory controller a slight nudge.

Yep i wouldn't worry at those at all. Was fan maxed out??

Fan was not quite maxed out, had a little more to go on the controller.
I might revisit this in a day or two...time for Christmas and all the Turkey and trifle you can eat.

All the best guys...and thanks for all the advice over the last few weeks..much appreciated

Wishing one and all a great Christmas and a prosperous New Year !
