M704B_12.B05, this is odd - every time I go into teh BIOS the CPU volts are set to teh default - but if I don't go into teh BIOS the voltage remains as set and so boots OK.
Confirmed mine does it.

Hadn't noticed earlier, ran 8x450 for benche comparison then switched to 470

I woke up yesterday and realised my memory had returned so I spent many hours with it trying to get a good stable O/C... and failed as I have done with the Crucial stuff. Once I get into higher numbers I just get problems no matter what more voltages I apply or how much I curse it.
I need help here, Please!
I know my CPU batch isn't one of the best and requires more volts than some but should I really be raising the mb voltages a whole lot more than people like SS have listed here in these forums?

I have tried a variety and they all seem fine until I hit about 3.4GHz (that's the CPU - not the RAM) and get close to the RAM's spec. My last attempts have been 380x9=3420MHz @ 1.425v on 1:1.5 divider giving 1140MHz - 2 MHz under spec for my Dominator 9136's.
After my last post I decided to go back to using my Crucial RAM, cleared CMOS and couldn't get it to boot up again! Had to do a full CMOS reset, battery out and cables disconnected. Running again now and doing a thorough test of memory @ 1066 on 1:1.20.
Seems I can get CPU stable or RAM stable but not together?

Yo !

Hows tricks ?

Big footy weekend approaching, I am already nervous about the Mancs game....another beer might help

I managed to get to 3.25 GHz but anything above seems very unstable, only tried the Vcore up a couple of notches, before I gave up and played Crysis and COD4 I think I will try for a little more in a week or so once off work.

I see there is a new Beta bios out....worth the hassle of change ? I am still running 12_02 seems pretty stable, apart from the odd lack of USB keyboard detection at post.

Oh and the latest UGURU is much nicer than the last one....it doesn't even crash ! Well, who'd of thought eh !!!

Stay cool guys, catch ya l8r
