Speaking of which, Supershanks - how are your 40mm fans performing, I recall you got some 9cm2 from eBay?

Re. Galaxy PSU, today... touch-wood things are better. Yesterday I was trying to control some of my fans via BIOS & uGuru in Windows and was having all sorts of problems, I now have them connected to an independent fan controller and things 'appear' much better? Odd or what?

Yep got 2x :-

One is hanging on the nb mounted at the side using a couple of paperclips. On the pwm i'm still running the 60mm cos it wedges in nicely. Really can only do it with mobo out the case.

Do you live in an earthquake zone with limited hours of daylight by any chance?

Note:1 Vcore seems high if it's your memory timing that's causing instability you should be able to lower it I managed 1.40v

Tying the manual timings may help.

luck

Sorry, earthquake zone... shaky picture, daylight... most cameras have flash these days to compensate. Perhaps we should all club together and get you a shiny new camera for Christmas to reward you for all your hard work. Ho-ho-ho.
Will try some more settings and report back.

A guy wrote me this message, maby somebody can give him a tip to solve his problem:

Hi,
I have a problem with my IX38. I shutdown my computer switch off the power supply all the nights. The first time i want to restart my computer i have a code 90. and the motherboard shutdown and restart after 2 seconds and i receive the same message code and shutdown then Restart ....

I have to make a lot of Reset and Switch off my power supply to start my computer !!

I try to clear CMOS and to put off the battery, i try to reset the µguru (Abit FAQ), I try to Fash the 1.2 Beta Bios with no result.

Please Help me :frown:

My configuration :
Abit IX38 with 1.2 Beta2 Bios
Q6700 at original clock
4GB of Mushkin 8500 DDR2 (2x2GB)
8800GT 512 BFG OC2
2 HDD Seagate 7200.11 500GB (Raid 0 and Raid 1)

Please Help me :frown:

Maybe a ram problem? I havent found the number 90 in the manual.
I had a similar problem when i startet my ABIT with the Cellshock rams, i only made it after i started with one single ram!
