Open CPU-z & select the memory tab. You will see in the top right the channels# it will be single rather than Dual

Alll motherboards will do this, single channel works but not with the same bandwidth as dual.
Sry but you arent right. It is working! You want Pictures?
I havent seen this before!

One Ram in blu one in black and CPU-Z says DUAL and Everest too. And the benchmarks are exact the same. Thats unbelieveable!!!

Here are the pictures:

But its ok cause its working in these slots.
But what would be if iam buying 2 more of these Rams? Should i risk that? What Rams would be the best for the mobo?

I´ll try to clear the cmos later!

I don't think I tried it either.

I wonder if it shows up as dual channel with just one stick? That would be about right

Default Dual / Single Channel Comparison

Yep your right it shows Dual channel in every slot permutation, maybe that's why they call it the Quad

But my benches show a better performance in normal Dual channel (matched coloured slots), which is what i expected. Performance loss running non-dual is around 2.3% which is probably lower than expected. Have not had chance yet to try 1:1.25 but if it makes that stable then a 2..3% loss might well be worth it to get the extra Mhz. I think that it's usually been said that dual channel is worth 5%.

All shots are based on 450x8 @1:1.20 1080Mhz.
I tried clearing cmos to see if it was perhaps a DMI update thing but it still showed dual channel

Normal Dual Channel

Inside Sockets

Outside Sockets
