Abit's customer service is EXCELLENT! I have to say that, usually a Ten-DAY turn around, roughly the same as Gigabyte!

Asus is a 3 month turn around.

thanks for the info! It'll be an improvement in my book if ABIT CS gets back to me... Unlike Asus... sigh

But anyway, back to this board, are ABIT folks going to try and remedy some of the issues with the package that Clunk and Supershanks have reported before the board goes en-mass to retail?

It was the retail package that we received from a retailer unfortunately.

They said that they won't be adding any USB brackets, and they said they would look into the missing PWM clips.

Default An effort to make the board better !

I sent an email to Abit EU again yesterday about the issues i've seen around all the usual forums. There seems to be a FSB wall for dualcores on this mobo @ around 491 fsb. Supershanks had it with a q6600 G0 and i have the same problem with a very good E6600 that did 515 fsb on a P5B of a friend.

Also i have problems getting the memory stable @ DDR1100 and above which should be possible with my OCZ Ti Alpa VX (PC8000@4-4-4-15 stock). I mentioned the problems people where having with quad core overclocking. All problems will be forwarded to Taiwan and he assured me they are very happy with good feedback and it will be used.

I think there are memory controller issues in bios 11 and 12B02. He will send me a new beta and/or final when they finish it. Also he is going to send me mounting clips whenever they get them from Taiwan.........

Stay tuned for more news !

I can safely say that I won't be buying anything Abit for the forseeable future

However, if anyone wants to send me one to test, feel free to contact me
