I had such high hopes for this board out of the blocks after the IP35pro came out with such a solid first up bios.
I was going to get one as soon as I could down here, but I'll certainly be holding off now.

Welcome to the forums

I think we all had high hopes for the QuadGT, thats why it's such a disappointment...that and parting with 170 quid or so

you were done seeing as both Komplett & Yoyotech had/have it for under £150 plus p&p - OcUK?

I reveived a new bios file from Abit Europe New BIOS file 12b02. I also have the confirmation that the fan mount clips for the pwm's should be included and that the pwm temp can easily be in 100 degrees C ! When i get more info, you will get it to !!!

When you want the bios email me @
nmsystems@chello.nl

The problem with bios freezes is also adressed. This can occur when you press del before the post code 26. They promised this will be resolved...

Mate right now we ALL need them.

After a year of working closely with abit, and getting the suggestions of both the overclocking community and myself imlpimented (you will see my thermal design on the x48, was going to be on the x38 max but due to chipset problems was cancelled) any way I digress, I thought I was finally making headway with the IP35 PRO, they had the BIOS brilliant from the word go (still had a few minor bugs) but it appears this case is a step backwards.

All your issues have ALREADY been raised with tiawan.every one of them, all ican do is nag on your behalf!

Im the same as you, just a fairly well known overclocker whom has some measure of respect and trust in tiawan is all, thats with abit and other boards. I havent got the board, still waiting from Tiawan, however right now I feel frustrated that this is happening. I will continue to fight on your behalf though.

Supershanks can you do me a favour, I wish to post a survey of what people would like to see on ABIT AND GIGABYTE boards ( i have influence with BOTH companies) then i can goto Tiawan and say this is what the users demand, what can you do about it?

Incidently I was the first to test the X38 DQ6 in this country all I can say is believe me you DIDNT want to try that board with the initial release BIOS!

Thanks for the file Edited. Showing i'm an Abit newbie I edited runme.bat do i have to edit anything in Abitfae.bat had a quick look but couldn't see anything. Also the file i have is .B02 rather than .BIN , what's the significance ??, does the extension need changing to BIN.

Thanks will talk about your other points soon, sorry i'm having to dash out for a couple of hours

B02 represents the build, yes you have to rename the file to .bin

You shouldnt need to edit any other file, the runme, should have all the command line switches you need.

cheers buddy
