i saw the extreme on newegg's website but they do not show the vertical cooling heatpipe section as part of the purchase...is that an additional cost?

P45 is lower spec chipset than X48. single x16 Pci-e or 2x8 compared with x48 2x16 . The X48 is also Digital PWM.

Think they also bought the copper in bulk
