Nice one.
That's pretty sweet, can feel a 4ghz coming on , got a little headroom with those temps.

3.95Ghz stable - Nuclearus of 22905

This board / quad combination is so sweet

I've put the Reaper back on @ 2.24v - no BSOD's or fail to boot's yet

so you pulled it back from 4Ghz to get stability ? or was it temps ?
Wondered why your nuclearus was based on that, rather than 4 , understand now.
So are both sets running ok in dual channel now ?

It hit 4GHz no problems , but then while running OCCT I had a memory BSOD & reboot , so I had to ramp the v. on the Reapers up to 2.26v .
Ran stable , but then forgot I'd only put 1 stick of OCZ in when I ran Nuclearus again , and wondered why the score had gone down by 300 points , the last WPrime was run on 1 stick as well ..........

It was Prime stable @ 4Ghz , but I really don't think this board likes OCZ memory in any form - it won't boot at stock with 2 sticks in , but will boot with every other pair of ram we've got , and I had the problems with the OCZ Behemoth ( with onboard mem. ) - going to order some different memory this afternoon - either Geil Evo1's or Corsair Dom's

If I can get the right memory for it , I think it may go up to around the 4.5Ghz mark

Someone on the Corsair forums seems to have had a similar problem getting 8500 Dominators to run - same F8 bios
Might try F7 bios to see if it makes any difference

F7 bios made no difference - all my 8500 memory now runs on this board in single channel for some reason , yet all the 6400 runs at dual channel interleaved - mem checked on other systems running at 8500 ........... I'm now wondering if the board doesn't like 8500 , or has it got a problem ? So many people ( including Graphic Harbour ) have had one problem or another with 8500 , I'm considering staying with 6400 mem , cancelling my Geil Evo 1 order and getting a new Ballistix 6400 4Gb kit ...

have you been tweaking the
Quote:
Driving Strength Profile:[AUTO],[667Mhz],[800Mhz],[1066Mhz],[OC-1200],[OC-1333]
Is it set to auto or 1066 (=8500) make sure it's set the same on each channel.

I usually change them to reflect the speed i'm running.

Tried auto and 1066 Shanks - still won't run as dual channel ( won't boot with it in as dual channel either ) - 1066 ram shows as 533 in CPUZ 150 5-5-5-15 , 6400 shows correctly - I really can't work out why it's only 8500 it's doing it with ( all OCZ ) .................

Running 4Gb of ReaperX 6400 Dual channel @ 5-5-4-18 2.1v and so far it's sweet to 3.8Ghz
