can any one recomend me initial bios setting for a qx9650(vid 1.25) with 8 gb of ddr2 a data vitesta 1066 xtreme (v2.1-v2.3 5 5 5 18) to get 3.8 or 4 gh

Mobo bios is f8.

There are so many volt and timming that i can manage to get them properly

Hi mate,
you updated your CPU then ?
Your ramn is the same , so you had that stable earlier just use the straps to keep it at the same approximate speed.
Use Small ffts on Prime to check your cpu stability.

focus on :
CPU Vcore
CPU Termination
CPU PLL - You may at high clocks need to up this from stock , but Use sparingly.resort.
CPU Reference 1
CPU Reference 2

Vcore & Termination voltage(VTT on other boards) are main tools.
CPU Reference 1&2 Are both used to improve stability. watch prime small ffts and adjust the failing core setting. +/- a notch and retest. CPUref 1= cores 0&2 CPUref 2 1&3

I've never had a 45nm Quad so can't provide detailed settings , sorry.

yes, with 2 razorblade i cut the glue on the board of the cpu's pcb

after i have warmed the IHS in correspondence of the die and in 30 second it was detached.
