don't worry

hownever I think my mobo have a bigger issue than corrupted bios.
your issue with ep45T extreme was caused by a bad flash???
mine is dead before a reboot after overclock fail but i don't see burns on it and I used low voltage enough.

in the next day I will do RMA.

It happened a few times, same symptoms as you describe , an endless 3 code loop. C1H, 25h 33h :-
1st was on the original Gigabyte GA-EP45-EXTREME, wasn't aware of shorting the jumpers been a possible solution, so board was returned & exchanged. This was after overclockling
2Nd was as described following bios flash. THat solution came to prominance after the faulty FINAL F5 For GA-X48T RELESED TODAY
& following 100or so posts . Symptoms are however identical.

I think it's down to Cmos corruption in both cases, for some reason the spare bios chip doesn't cut iin & recover.

I have c1, c3, 02 and c1 in loop.
I have tried to short the 2 pin many times but without result...

I'm looking at your link but it seems to be a different problem caused by bad flash.

1srt problem was ocing
2nd on my T was similar to the F5 issue on the X48.

Yes there are two causes, but I think in all cases the cmos got trashed for whatever reason, bad flash or OC.

Post EP45E+Q9650@4352Mhz 1.32vcore 1.3vtt 5:6 Strap 4Gb_DDR2@1230Mhz_PL8

Hi Guys,

Got the Gigabyte EP45-Extreme to play with my Q9650 L820A930 07/08.

Main objective was to get to know the Extreme board and compare it with my UD3P.

I used the strap 5:6 and I got to say it was a pleasure at 1230Mhz rams where doing fine. Still un-tweaked but if I have more time during the week I'll post updates.

All low volts for people that want 24/7 use: 1.32vcore, 1.30vtt, 1.50pll, 1.440vnb, 1.20vsb (except ram that was on Auto but can be lowered to 2.060vdimm).

Nice going mate. That's belting timings I managed to get these DDR2 1150 (PC9200) running with a set of Crucial 8500 but only at 5-5-5-14. I have 2 sets of crucial , but only the older double sided set would run.
