You might try looking at 9x470@2.40B 1128Mhz 5-5-5-20 or other runs, see index on post#1
for voltage settings. CPUs vary you may need to tweak slightly vcore, to get yours stable. Run Prime smallffts to test cpu stability. Run your memory at 2.00B rather than my 2.40B and see how that run at 940mhz try your ram at 5-5-5-24. assuming you can get into bios at those speeds, make a note of the advanced timing control settings in the SPD column. you may need to slacken them. Also post them upo here so we can see them please.
Well so far no go won't complete a post tried to loosen timing i just can't get it to post. I am gona try bios 4 again and see if i can boot with that i have a feeling it might be my cheap ram dono.

how can i up load pics.

So far i can boot on Bios F4 @ 450 x 9.5 if i uses the exact same settings on any other bios a can't even post. I have my Vcore set to 1.475v by the time windows boots cpuz shows it as 1.42 - 1.455v after about 1/2 hr system will reboot this time it's lasting longer I am typing on the PC now.

I noticed that there is a new bios F8 I am going to try that now I am not posting any settings because i am playing with the ones you suggested and if i can't boot there is nothing to report other than i can't post. :-)

Hi SS,

so i decided to install bios F8 and i am working my way up in the FSB so far i am at 425 every thing in auto except vcore 1.375, SPD 2.00D and dram 2.00v. Clock mult is set at 9.5 for now. At this setup i can run super PI 11.717sec 1mg, Orthos stops within a couple of seconds no stability. Anyway here is an image to add some color to this path and to try out photobucket

hu image didn't show up?

so with the following settings i can boot into vista run super PI no lockups but no stability I think mabe flashing from vista not as good as booting from bios, dono but i can seem to run higher than previous attempts when flashed with vista.

good night

Hi,
You have to post the directlink, not the preview link in the [IMG][/IMG] placers , see my edit above.

1) Thought I'd added the link to this thread already, I have now. This was on the DDR3 T version of the board Auto Voltage Settings]Auto Voltage Settings There is no way you need PLL voltage of 1.66v for the clock you have on. AS I said earlier you'd be better off looking at some of the bios settings in similar such as Air Cooled - 4,230Mhz 9x470@2.40B 1128Mhz 5-5-5-20 you should be able to run with something like the voltages I posted there :-
Quote:
CPU
CPU Vcore….……….........................:1.39375v
CPU Termination…..... 1.200V*.......: 1.260v
CPU PLL…………………....1.500V*.......: 1.560v
CPU Referen.…………....0.755V*.......: 0.760v
CPU Reference2………,,0.800V*.......: 0.798v
vcore may vary due to CPUs but the rest should be fine.

2) With MCH & dram I'd set the same voltages as mine , then just back down your vdimm to the 2v for your modules.

3) In Channel A & B Driving Settings
in Driving Strength Profile select [1066Mhz]
Try Channel A Static tRead Value at 9 the same as Channel B (which is 9 in auto) set both to 9 manually.

Have forgotten are you running 1kit of 2 modules or 2 kit of the CORSAIR TWIN2X4096-6400C5??

4) Superpi doesn't run too well on Vists are you using the front-end Hyperpi??

Let us know how it goes

luck

Good morning SS

last night i was just trying to see if i would be able to post/boot at higher FSB settings, earlier i mentioned that running newer bios i could not boot at anything other than stock. The CPU PLL is reported incorrectly as i do have it set to 1.56v in bios i am not sure were ET6 getts its information from. I am hoping that tonight i will be able to try some of your bios settings i just wanted to make sure that i could. I will let you know what vertion of super PI i am using tonight.

I am running 2 x 2gig sticks of ram

Well as long as you'd set your PLL that's ok

ET6 is very iffy with the voltage readings. I've found :-

So far i have not been able to post with the settings you have suggested it doesn't make any sense to me. I can post/boot with most of the stuff set to auto @465 x 9.5 so i will try setting one or two things at a time into manual and try to track down the one that is being a prick. Eventual i will get it or blow it up.

Oh found setting some of the mem options back to auto enabled me to boot 485FSB x 9 mem @2.00D and 1.475v core. super PI 10.80sec

more to come stay tuned

above post was just for info re easy tune reported voltages ??
you might need to put Static tRead Value at 10, don't forget to change both channels.

SS i am a bit of a nob as a can't wrap my head around the whole lowing the clock multi and raising the FSB to increase the CPU frq. i think if I have mediocre ram raising the FSB would also raise the ram frq making it work harder. so would it not be better to keep the FSB down and max the CPU multi to get higher CPU frq? Just a question.

I have tried several tweaks one at a time and nothing really stable except for the last attempt I lowered quite a few voltages and the FSB i was able to run ORTHOS for 26min before i shut it off to do more playing. Here are the settings from that setup.
