I'm wondering where you're loosing performance as at 7.5x575FSB 1:1 5-5-5-15 you should be close to my 8x550FSB 1:1 time at least. Do you have large systemcache enabled in registry ?
Eva I forgot to take the handbrake off

Also at 4.4ghz your 32M time is around 90-110 seconds slower than normal. I'm actually fairly confident if this F6c bios can give me the FSB, I can match the biostar for clock for clock performance

come on man, 90-110 seconds...your other post shows only 7 seconds difference AND i didn't have system cache set to 'large'...so...if i did that i would have kicked your arse right out of here...LOL

okay maybe not 90 seconds but even my 10min 55s is what i consider very slow for such clocks i should be closer to 10min 30-35 seconds at least

this is not fast or slow example

I've failed to get further on two items both ram related.
1) I've tried 585 can get into windows , as Eva's tests earlier I can run Wprime 1024 but 32m Super Pi fails after about 5th iteration.
2) Tried 2.66D divider to see if I could get 1200Mhz ram (432x9.5) Max I can get is 1150Mhz Have a Xeon 3230 I'm going to try so the 2.66D divider will be used there. On the X38-DQ6 ddr2 this was the strongest divider , performing better than 2.40B many times, with higher speeds.

In both cases have tried using Clock Skew +100 Channel A & -100 Channel B bought a little bit of stability. Tried several permutations of Rank Settings Came close to testing how well a Ballistix stick can fly
Seem to have got best results with the newer single sided set.
The older set have clocked fine in the past but think they may be getting tired

i see your time above and it is very good to me...that is the difference between our two philosophical approaches to overclocking...i do not chase the low time (i use to), i just want a decent time...heck, i am using PC6400 memory and you probably have a slew of sticks rated up to PC12,000

you are in it to show the boards off...ME...i am in it to show the average joe overclocker how to attain a decent overclock with parts that won't set them back a good 'penny'!

Alcibiades mate chill
Thanks for the support but there's no need Ace & I are good buddies we tested the Official Gigabyte X48T-DQ6 Info Thread & Gigabyte GA X48T DQ6 Living Review out together.
As Eva has said here initial results a well as yourself were pretty poor. Ace has made the point that his BIOSTAR TPower I45 M/B ois performing well.
Everyone has their opinion that's what the forums are about
