1) Thermalright Bolt Through
There is as George pointed out some interference. It isn't to noticeable but does give cause for concern
2) Scythe Universal Retention Kit
I'm lucky 'cos I had a couple of these kits
The backing plate on this very rigid steel , seems firmer than the Thermalright, but it also has an equal depth layer of neophane with a final layer of paper on top.
Side view showing the 2 layers.
I'm using 1 with my EP45 & my Fuzion block. A 2nd works well with the XIGMATEK HDT-S1283 on the EP45T.
This shot of the baseplate after unmounting, shows it's working pretty well
Gave a good impression anyway

very nice!...your pictures would take a big load off anyone's mind to know they can get around this problem.

That'll be good, but I don't think its's a big issue the plastic chips feel very solid are are aligned , are capable of taking pressure as

I installed a Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme on the EP45-extreme and the EP45T-extreme using stock everything, I was not gentle either when mounting those spring loaded screws, but encountered no problems at all.
|
and I found initially. It's good to know there are options if you are concerned. Nothing to stop you cutting a Neoprene Rubber gasket to use with the thermalright bolt thru

565x7.5@2.0B 1,130 5,5,5,24
These last 2 clocks have been a bit odd, I started off aiming at 480x7.5 , but struggled to get ram stability.
With this clock I've dropped MCH Reference to 0.756. so the 3 Gtlrefs are now 60.6%, 63.3% 57.3% CPU Reference1, CPU Reference2 & MCH Reference

hmmmm, the Biostar TPower seems to be a VERY good board...it was a slow start to figure out the bios settings...i think i have it down pretty good.
the board comes right up to being neck and neck with the X48T and i am only running the VC at 8X link speed since i have an Areca Raid card in the 2nd slot running at 8X.

yes!..the 32M surprised me...the board just gives you that burst of speed...i am going to put the other drives on the areca card; the ones i used in the PCMARK 2005 showdown between the X48T and IP35 Pro to eliminate any doubt about its true performance...i want to make sure the Veloci-Raptors are not adding an extra burst of speed somewhere...you wouldn't think it would except in the PCMARK 2005 bench...the video benches and SuperPI should stay the same.

Aye think 510/520 was top on x48t ?? I've got 533x7.5 on this , will have to give it 0.5 more if you do
I'm sure you'll get there
