Anyone having fun on playing with the straps?
I was wondering to get any other strap to work we can't just set the MB jumper to be auto.
What I've been suspecting was that the MB user menual don't have a jumper option set to 400 strap but only 200/266/333. Maybe it's worth a try setting to 266 jumper while using 266 strap memory divider will have better luck?

Cheers

Alright already had a quick try on the jumpers
they makes no difference.
Just don't try messing with them due to really bad location of the jumpers...

That's because the BIOS in your link is for the LT board not the UT.

X48BDXXX - UT board

X48GDXXX - LT board

Yes I've just realised...luckily I can still boot that up
now flashed back to 923 BIOS
switching to other BIOS which is not designed for that particular board is really dangerous
Sorry for the mistake that I've make, will remove the link right now

Shouldn't cause any harm as the boards are the same.
