I said pretty much the same thing in my conclusion on page 3 (or 4), except for the fact that I thought the cooling was excellent

To be honest, I haven't used mine since I finished the review, so I don't know how far the BIOS has matured, but as it stood, it needed a fair amount of work to bring it up to scratch.

540 fsb proved too much work for the short term....so back to the 400/1600 divider. So far so good. DDR3 1800 at 8-8-8-27 1T tRD 8.

Hello,

i have the OCZ Platinum EB 1600MHz 4GB Kit. I cannot run it at the 400/1600 Divider. My CPU is clocked @ 10X400 FSB and at the 400/1600 Divider my RAM is on 1601 MHZ. what can i do to run it ? I have put the timings manually. Thank you.

I'm fighting with the same thing here. BlackDragon24's the 1st person I've seen get that memory running at speed on this MB. Praz has gotten the 1333 running at 1800 speeds, but with a dual core (I think). I've managed to get it to pass memtest at 1600 and get into windows, but it fails or locks in linpak before 6 or 7 passes. Any shift up or down in any of the voltages (VID, VTT, NB, SB, or DRAM) takes me out of the sweet spot and it's worse.

I'm running a quad and wondering if that may be my problem.

EDIT: oops... I thought that you said 1800...
Have you looked at Praz's posts on DFI Club or OCZ Support?

If Praz has posts showing stability at 530+ fsb that yields 1800 speeds on the 400/1333 divider, I'd love to see them because 530fsb seems to be the wall for me right now.

First attempt for ORTHOS got BSODed. Second Attempt: ORTHOS 1hr 30 min
Will post the BIOS settings later~ just to make sure it's stable
however 1Mhz higher will not POST. Still investigating why. Possibly dram clock skew related.

Stanley, could you resize your images please, they are over 2MB in size

In the forum stuff section, theres a quick guide on how to do thumbnails, that way you can still keep the full size image.
