Ok so really performance wise all pretty level no real improvemernt. I guess thats to be expected now.

Hi guys, im new to the forum, ive had this board for a while now and happy with the performance, got my Q9550 to 3.82 450X8.5 stable under air cooling. I am soon going to water cooling and getting a Qx9650 and want to see how far i can go.

The only querry i have is that i cannot access the hidden menu in bios. Everytime i press Ctrl - F1 nothing happens, i have tried upgrading bios and still nothing, has anyone else had this issue?

Welcome to the forums, glad to see your doing ok with this board

You should find water cooling a boost to your temps and silence

you have to press Ctrl - F1 at the main menu. you should then see the hidden settings when you go to the MIT Sub menu.

Hi and thanks for the reply,

I feel so stupid, the whole time i was hitting ctrl - F1 from the wrong screen and not the main menu. So thanks for your help i got it now.

I got my qx9650 and i manage to hit 4Ghz 400X10, with 1.38 vcore, however i could not load windows at 4.2Ghz 400X10.5. I am going to wait for my w/c and see if i can get it a little further.

what are temps like ?

Not the best, idle temps are at 40 36 32 35, with thermalright 120, Im still waiting on more parts to arrive to get my water loops up and running. Will post pics when done.

The only thing that i have noticed is that i cannot get into windows at 450FSB. 425 is fine very stable, and my q9550 would give me 450FSB stable, this chip doesnt like it.

aye a bit warmish, you'll feel the benefit with WC. That 450 thing is a bit of a bummer with the 9650, just luck of the draw i guess in what you get.

Hi, I am an excited and interested reader of this post, since I have a X48T-DQ6 board and recently bought a Q9550 with E0 stepping which is said to get to 4 ghz what I am going to try the next days.
