Hi, I'm new here... I have a brand new X48T-DQ6 since 3 weeks a go, but from sometimes when I restart my PC, bios doesn't load my OC settings... it seems to load but suddendly shut down by a cuople of seconds then it turns on by itself again loading bios default/stock settings. The weird thing is I have ran some tests with my OC settings without errors: Orthos (blend - stress cpu & ram) by 2 hours, and OCCT (medium data set) by 1 hour.

temps are just fine:
Stock (idle/full): cpu (29șC/38șC), cores (40șC/50șC), mb (36șC/37șC)
OverC (idle/full): cpu (30șC/50șC), cores (43șC/59șC), mb (36șC/38șC)

My pc:
X48T-DQ6 (bios version F5)
E7200@3.375GHz (450x7.5) w/ OCZ Vendetta
2x1GB OCZ Gold DDR3 1800MHz 9-9-9-27-2T@1.95V
Sapphire HD4850
PSU Corsair TX-750W

Any sugestion?
Should i try add MCH and/or FSB voltages?
greetings & thanks.-

Hi Qu4k3r!

I had a similar issue with this board and an OCZ ram.

my post here:
Gigabyte X48T DQ6 Living Review

After upgrading to one of the F6 bios, the problem was gone...
I don't know what they changed and whether this would help you, but you can give it a try.

I played with several combination of FSB and (G)MCH and never found a stable setting with F4 or F5.

I also suggest you to use Prime95, in addition to the ones you are using.
I know it's slower, but in my case Prime was more sensitive and gave me OC errors, where the others passed every tests.

Bye,
Wally

Thanks for your suggestion and responding so fast, but I would rather make the bios upgrade like last resource. Any other idea?

I installed Prime95 too but I haven't try it yet

Hi Qu4k3r,
Welcome to the forum
Have to agree with wally80's solution.
Though if you don't want to flash to new bios yet try dropping fsb slightly or increasing tRD to 9 and see if that has any effect.
What tests have you tried, running Prime blend as wally says is best.

Let us know how it goes

Sorry, I just forgot mention the following data and maybe can help... all those are set to auto but i didn't say the values at first post... I checked them and here are they:

OC settings
Advanced Timing Control
ACT to ACT Delay(tRRD)............: auto=10
Rank Write to READ Delay (tWTR)...: auto=11
Write To Precharge Delay (tWR)....: auto=10
Refresh to ACT Delay (tRFC).......: auto=60
Read To Precharge Delay (tRTP)....: auto=5
Static tREAD Value (tRD)..........: auto=6
Static tREAD Phase Adj............: auto=0
Command Rate (CMD)................: 2T

Maybe should I try change any of them before try other solution?
