Vcore of 2.8
I hope that's a typo
0.1~0.15v FSB are about right, you shouldn't need more than +0.15v
you can go higher on MCH Stock is 1.25v so +0.50 is not excessive.

Yeah, 2.8 was a typo. Was in a rush when I was typing. Cheers for the advise Should I need to play with the GTL Refs to keep the Q9450 Stable at 450FSB on this board?

are sure you are using a vcore of 2.8????...that voltage would kill a cpu.

I had a set of that ram , which was quiet disappointing performance wise Clunk, found the same. I saught help here Timing issues 2GB OCZ DDR3 PC3-16000 2000MHz Platinum EB Enhanced goes ok at 1800~1900 but nowt startling.

This thread is also interesting OCZ3P2000EB2GK issue

I read that with 1.9v i´m invalidating warranty.
as you can see from the last thread particularly , you won't have an issue invalidaying your warranty with 1.90v so try +0.35~+0.40v with some of the timings shown in the 1st link

let us know how it goes

I still can´t get 450FSB (even if i go up with vcore up 1.3875V), but i get 445 FSB stable with this settings

Standard Timing Control
CAS Latency Time (tCL)............: 9
DRAM RAS# to CAS# (tRCD).........: 9
DRAM RAS# Precharge (tRP).........: 8
Precharge Delay (tRAS)............: 27
Advanced Timing Control
ACT to ACT Delay(tRRD)............: 15
Rank Write to READ Delay (tWTR)...:28
Write To Precharge Delay (tWR)....:22
Refresh to ACT Delay (tRFC).......: 80
Read To Precharge Delay (tRTP)....: 7
Static tREAD Value (tRD)..........:8
Static tREAD Phase Adj............: Auto
Command Rate (CMD)................:2T

G)MCH Clock Skew Control.........: 50
System Voltage Control () = Base Voltages
DDR3 OverVoltage Control...(1.50v): +0.35
CPU GTLREF1 Voltage*.......(67%)..: -3
CPU GTLREF2 Voltage*.......(61%)..: -3
Loadline Calibration..............:enable
CPU Voltage Control...............: 1.3500v

This for me is enough!

tks for yor help.

That's fine then but it's a good way below the rated specs , which is disappointing, but not unknown for this ram. I think I'd be inclined to take OCZ's own recommendation from the link I gave & run with +0.50v overvolt (1.90v). , but it's still good for 24/7 & gives you no concerns.

luck

Default GigaByte X48T-DQ6 versus Asus P5E3 Premium/WiFi-AP @n

Hi,

I was wondering how well does the GigaByte X48T-DQ6 compare to the Asus P5E3 Premium/WiFi-AP @n in terms of overclocking using OCZ memory?

thanks
