Default Command Rate Comparison

As an example I went back to the 7.5x500 Clock using 3.33 Divider giving 16667Mhxz DDr3

Looking at everest as the most consistent measure:-

So if your memory can run it it's worth about 1~2% extra mine needs to change at 1700Mhz at present on the Official F4 Bios. On the Asus P5E3 I was able to run 1T at 1800Mhz,

Seems like that anandtech claim

that was a good exercise of proof to show some reviewers from other sites have not been subjected to retail cra*p that is out there...i presume anandtech.com gets the prem-o, hand picked hardware since their site has a lot of clout.

cheers ace , though I do rate the Anendtech reviews highly , it must be hard for the likes of Rajinder Gill, the autor,to be aware at the time whether they have a handpicked sample. If your reviewing new technology in particular is it great product or hand picked. Guess the reviewer would alienate the supplier if he suggested that , while he doeas the same to his readers if he doesn't. Fortunately as I've just shown , we're not in that position yet

luck

anandtech probably gets a lot of samples sent to them to test like memory...you know that stuff will be thoroughly cherry picked so it does not fall short of expectations.

Am trying to see what max FSB is

Default E8200 8x500

Turned up the multi on my stable E8200 7.5x500 @3.33D = 166DDR 7-6-5-18 to 8 :-
Nice benches but seems much less stable than 7.5, well so far

very nice SS!!

what Vdimm did you use to hold 1666 mhz?

i'm anxious to get my board back to start with the 9650.

EDIT:...just checked your slides and i see about 1.85 for Vdimm...pretty good!...the "E" series is a heck darn easier to overclock!

i should probably mention that i was able to take my replacement QX9650 up to 490 FSB using the 8X multi on the IP35 Pro...i was able to run wPrime 1024M at 490 FSB...i tried 495 FSB and it was flaky!
