Id try pulling the battery for a couple of hours. Sounds like the changes you've tried have corrupted the cmos.
thanks once again...!that was the first thing that i tried and now i hope to find someone to sell this tech-freak m/b!thanks to all for the help!i will use my x48t-dq6 as a racquet to play beach tennis if i don't find a buyer!
oh man!some mercy from this gigabyte hardware please.......my pc went crazy i had f6a bios for 2 weeks!i try to open the pc to my stable settings and all I get is an endless series of restarts!after that a warning of recovering bios appeared and it flashed back to f5 thanks to dual bios!i am with f5 now!but the first bios was f4 why f5 now?i flashed from f4 to f5 and next to f5a and finally to f6a!so the backup bios should keep f4..and now it recovers to f5!ok i think ufos are flying over my house and the m/b went crazy so if anyone wants to buy a gigabyte motherboard i suggest to think it twice!first the killer f5 bios after the crazy 1.3 revision....i think my m/b is gonna make a nuke explosion in a few days..so stay tuned.....
quickly, wrap that up and send it to 'Putin' in russia...
Great thread here guys. I so want to like a GA board. I have gone thru 3 (2 X38s and a P45) and so far none will come close to my DFI UT P35. I got one of these as a last shot of liking a GA. So far I can OC the crap out of my E8400 but next up is my Q9650 E0 ES. Any insight on OCing quads on this board?

I agree ace...thats gonna be gigabytes secret weapon a nuke m/b bomb with a timer thanks to the battery and cmos....and finally the bios is buggy and the m/b fails to explode

Hi sofarfrome,
welcome to the forum
Personally I've not clocked a quad on this board, Ace is probably the man who has clocked most hourts up using a quad I think.
Looking around on 45nm it seems that the same Gtlref as wolfdale helps so you might try from some of my settings , but with a lower FSB
i did it buy leaving it in the clear position with battery out for 8 hours...BUT...i also cleared the RTC jumper for the full 8 hours...that did it...i had a clean slate...it might be shorter time than 8 but you will need to find it!

Anyone know how to clear the CMOS profiles? I tried shorting the CMOS reset jumper.. it cleared the regular CMOS settings but not those profiles.

I found as Ace did , didn't need 8 hours. quickest way is to flash bios , their gone then .
