i gave the old killed motherboard back to the shop and i asked for guarranty!and the good people at the shop said that the board has problem and because of guarranty they gave me a new motherboard in the box!i read in other sites that some people have problem with the new f5 21/7 and some not!any comment about the changes that i noticed between 1.1 rev. and 1.3 rev.why the system temp is raised at the same conditions!7 degrees up!why?maybe volts and tweaks from gigabyte at 1.3rev?from the first o/c tests i found that this board is more stable!i can run the q9450 stable at 3400mhz with 1.27v!at the killed 1.1rev. i was stable at the 3400 mhz with 1.29v!thats good!ok if they are gona have a new revision 1.4 or 1.5 i am gonna put the killer f5 bios and i will ask for guarranty again

i would use the download flashing program along with the provided autoexec.bat file to flash the F5...just bypass the "Q-Flash" in the bios...their special flashing program should do quality checks before flashing with the provided bios file.

Hey guys.. I'm reading through this thread and finding lots of great info. One thing I saw when you guys were posting your OC results is a nice text listing of the MIT BIOS settings. Is there a program that generates that for you?

Oh ok, damn I was hoping some program was actually able to read those settings for you from the CMOS. That would rule.

Well i got bored or just stupid and went ahead and flashed to the F5 final via the qbios and it worked just fine

now that there is a way to short the bios for a bad flash i felt it was worth a chance and so i took one. mybe not too smart but it works.
