me TOO!

i am down to buying another case, for the gigabyte board, but this one is going to be an aerator type

here are the two cases that i am considering:

Newegg.com - XCLIO A380PLUS-BK Fully Black High Gloss Finish 1.0mm SECC/ ABS ATX Full Tower Computer Case - Computer Cases

Newegg.com - APEVIA X-JUPITER S-Type X-JUPITERS-BL Blue Aluminum ATX Full Tower Computer Case - Computer Cases

i am leaning towards the first one.

EDIT:...changed my mind...now, i am leaning towards the 2nd one after reading more about it.

the main concern i have is the Coolit Freezone Elite that i have...the current door on my case, i have to force it to close because the Elite takes a bit more room in head space if the case is laying on its side as you install it...SO...the side fan is of concern with me...now, i think this case is deeper than the one i have now.

my current case is 8 inches wide and the 2nd case is 8.5 inches wide; although the 1st case is 8.7 inches...MAN!

I've seen the XCLIO A380PLUS-BK before , I must admit i quite like the style. The front reminds me of an old prop driven plane It looks quiet a decent case.

Not so familiar at all with the Jupiter, it looks well appointed with the led & fan controller. I like the colour , it's different,

Also in that $ range is the Thermaltake Armor Series VA8003BWS Black Full Tower Case w/ 25CM Fan - Retail
Special savings, limited time offer

luck

Hey guys.

I am facing weird issue with X48-DQ6.
Now I have tried every single bios from official F6 to latest beta F7g.
My setup : E8400 + X48-DQ6 + Tagan BZ800W PSU + Gskill 4GBPQ and for testing purpose using 6200TC in 1st PCI express x16 slot.
Now problem is with manual overclocking.

Whenever I modify CPU Host Clock control to ENABLE.
No matter what FSB value I set and what memory multiplier i use, the system. Once i save and pc goes to post, it reboots with default settings. Basically overclock fail state.

Even Default FSB 333x9 or even 266x9 does not work if set manually.

CIA2 on other hand works like a charm with any divider and overclocks cpu 410FSB.

SetFSB can take it all way upto 500+

Its just that in bios i cannot set FSB. Every time oc fails even when i know processor can be stable at well above stock.

Tried AxeRam memory modules as well. Same there. So RAM issue ruled out.

Any clue what I am doing wrong?
Its not like I am new to ocing. But this is my first Gigabyte board in long time.

Looks like weird bios issue. :S

Yup. Here is how it is setup.

Screen Top

Screen Bottom.

After these settings are saved and PC reboots, it reaches till memory count. And reboots there and loads auto settings to give this screen.
Does not matter what FSB I input in bios. Default 333 or 400 or 500. Result is same.

And if i use C.I.A.2 it ocs fine .
