Good going Ace
Can you check something for me please
I was playing around today putting the fans back on my pwm & noticed an odd thing.
There appears to be a blank socket on the bottom of the pic, just above the circular earth point. Am I a chip missing or is yours the same
The pic is from when i took the heatpipes off when I 1st got the board so i'm raesonably sure i've not knocked it off .

luck

i cranked the RPM down on my E8500 to 500 FSB...but...i tighten up the memory timings that had to be loose to get to 520@8.5= 4420 Mhz...as you saw, i was able to do over 2 hours of Prime 95 but the timings had to be relaxed for that and to run the video benches...with tighter timings, i am very close to those video benches at 4420 mhz.

i am going to put in my 9800 GTX in a little while and boot the baby up and run the four video benches to see what the PCIe2.0 bus specs will do...of course, the card has 512 mb versus 320 mb on the 800GTS...the memory speed is higher on the 9800 so it should make a difference...how much?..don't know!

Default 9800GTX PCIe 2.0 BENCHES

looks good but the card has beefed up specs compared to the 8800GTS....except for AQ3, the scores increased 3-5K...AQ3 went up about 20K:

more likely it's about the E8500
I'm lucky have had the flu shot the last few years & it seems to work now.

germ warfare is outlawed , but know where your coming from , still you had a good time

Finally got to 520x8.5 wil post that next took a bit of tweaking

Great looking clocks again, will run my gfx scores soon , but will be a bit behind your 9800 GTX i think.
