No. DS and DDS are the key to getting these sticks to run on this board. Clock delays will be dependent on the quality of the ram itself.

I am still at work, will only get to test tonight when i get home. By the way i read alot about cpu voltages being different from bios and what cpu-z. Which is the one to trust? I know people has asked you but i am still unsure on what your answer is. CPU-Z or BIOS

The reason i ask is because my 3.6Ghz overclock had a cpu Vcore set to 1.306 and in windows cpu-z reads at between 1.328-1.344 when priming and on idle.

I hope CPU-Z is wrong and the bios is correct , because that is almost no volts to boot at 3.6 Ghz

I cant remeber exactly but i think it also said 1.344V. What does this mean about my chip and quality of the waffer? It has a VID of 1.35. In your review you had a q6600 at 3.6Ghz with quite low voltage, So i was hoping that my extreme would be able to keep up quite easily.

Thanks for all your help so far.

Keep in mind that some of the testing was with phase cooling, so the voltages will be much lower for those.

Different models of CPU vary widely, so I wouldn't get too caught up in comparing yours with others.

Well i am running the same prime that i did last night without changing any timings or voltage and i think it was my ram that didnt like the board, because i am now 35 minutes into a blend prime and no errors .
Here is a link to my results so far.
