Yes, the minimum VTT you can set for 65nm CPUs is 1.21 Volts, at least on this board.
Looks like you got decent silicon, you tried going to 3600 (400x9)?

Did some testing, this time i left the vCore on auto and used only the Special Add, it gave me better results as i was able to tune the voltage in finer steps.
I got up to 500x9 with 1.42 vcore and it was SuperPI stable

Hi Everyone.

I have just bought the DFI LT X48 board and i should receive it within the next couple of days. I am going to be running 2 4870 512Mb and a qx6850 (Hopefully at 4Ghz) and i was wandering which bios you guys/girls would recommend i use?

From experience i have found that the latest isn't always the best but this is my first DFI board so i could be wrong.

Thanks in advance

You'll need to get that board flashed before you can use it with those cards, or you can use another graphics card to flash with.

I'm not sure which is best at present as mine are all in pieces at the moment, so hopefully somone else can comment on that

Yes the HD3870 will work, or you can plug in only one HD4870.

I don't think the 4870 works with the shipping BIOS does it? Can anyone confirm this?

Hey guys. I just recieved my board and now i see what you mean about the quality of the board. Pictures can only do so much justice to a product, but after holding the board in my hand i must say i am very pleased with the looks. I expected the NB heatsink to be quite heavy but it is actually very light. I cant wait to go home and start playing

Will post results later
Wish me luck and thanks for all your replys so far
