while you're at it you could get a 60 mm fan, unless you got some decent direct airflow in that area.
I think a 40 mm would be too weak and noisy, an 80 too bigand may interfere with something.. unless you pick a 15mm model.

Hi there !
The last time I came here, you told me to test with a different psu. Since I haven't been able to find one, I tried another thing. I started OCCT for 2 hours with Ati tool in burn mode to push both the cpu and the gpu. The temps got high quick but it was stable.
I tested with another gpu (hd4850) and it seems to be stable. But my 8800gtx was stable with my gigabyte p35. Is it possible that, there is a problem between my DFI and my 8800gtx ?

I have pretty decent air flow, so I should be ok without a fan. Cheers.

Hello all, maybe someone here can help me make sense of my current situation with my computer...
I had been using my X48-T2R for several months now and without issue, then all of sudden late last night when I went boot up I don't get past the splash screen and the post code is showing 75. So I reboot several times to no avail, EZ flash several times to no avail, then pull out the battery + set jumpers to clear CMOS for several hours and of course every time getting that annoying 75 code... So I finally got around to going online(via my laptop) and searching for post code 75; Which was IDE device detection. Then I remembered my Samsung DVD burner had basically died on me(every disc was made into a coaster) so I pulled the SATA plug from the mobo that connected the DVD burner and voila everything works fine again... But to be on the safe side I updated to the latest beta bios.
Ok, now does any of that ^ make sense? Would/Could a malfunctioning burner really cause a 75 error code? Or is my mobo showing the first signs of a slow painful death?
