Like in Asus motherboards?
Or the only option is either a real floppy or a custom XP install CD?

P.s.: Thanks for trying out the second PCIe slot for me
No extra drivers required for my installation.

The install disc is a genuine microsoft x64 bit one, and is the first release as far as I know - In other words, it's not got service pack 1 on it.

As I mentioned, the only drivers that I needed to download were the latest INF drivers from the Intel website.

You don't need to make the USB stick act like a floppy drive for a vista installation because vista will read from a standard usb stick when prompted.

I haven't installed XP 64, so can't comment on that. XP32 went without any problems, and installed all the way to the finished desktop, but I did have to install a few drivers.

To load a new BIOS, you need a floppy drive, or a USB stick that has been made bootable.

wasup, nice review Clunk , i'm really interesting in this mobo, i see your post in xs forum for the oc guide, but the nb and sb stock coolers does not finish to me convincing, i want to change maybe for some thermalright HR-05/IFX , but it's necessary

u have other angle pic like this:

it this work at x16 , maybe can put an HR-05 non IFX version on sb and nb , this is more cheaper i'm using a 3870x2 videocard ....

tnks for this thread , its very helpful

The SB cooler is more than enough, it doesn't really get hot.

You can fit a Thermalright HR-05 on there, I have one here, I will try it soon.

Also, you can get a file

and file off one corner, about 10-15mm and it should look like this:

You may have to go a little bit further down the heatsink, but thats the general idea - and obviously I did this in photoshop .

I'll do mine soon and see

Sorry, I wasn't clear

That mod to the Heat Minator is so that you can fit a Thermalright Ultra Extreme 120 in a vertical position.

The minator would probably fit on the SB, but wouldnt allow for a graphics card to be fitted because it sticks up too high

I have some spare HR-09s here, me very interested!
My board should arrive within first days of the next week... Just out of curiosity, for how much this model retails in UK?

Wasn't a good day yesterday - I meant HR-05

Although I should think that HR-09 should be ok for the PWMs, not sure which one though.

Retail in the UK £166.
