that fan on the CPU cooler is pushing or pulling air?If it is pushing, isn't it blowing hot air on the video card?

It's blowing through towards the video card. the air that comes off it isn't hot, even under load, it's just warm at most.

Thanks for answering but I've got another question:
Let's say the air that comes off the CPU cooler is warm. The thing is the 'already warm' air is passing through the NB cooler and I do not see how efficient can this be.Also,if you mount it this way, isn't an air obturation if you mount the mobo in a case where you have the cpu cooler pulling air in the CPU passive cooler and in the same time, that air is pulled by the power supply cooler too?
If you mount the CPU cooler vertically ,all these problems would disappear. You say there is not another solution?I am too looking only to buy the TR 120 Ultra Extreme.

Thanks in advance!

I am still trying to find a solution to this before ordering the motherboard, which is excellent by the way,but I do not want to be in the situation that I have the mobo at home,I buy the TR Extreme and I couldn't mount it the way I want

Mine is setup for ease of use, nothing more. It is built up flat on a desk and not in a case, so no problems arise.

If you really want to use this board with the thermalright 120 cooler in an upright position, then you need to mod the NB cooler so it will fit or use a different NB cooler.

Could you make an experiment? As in will the system boot with the video card in the other PCI Express 2.0 16 lanes slot? I got a HR05 IFX SLI and would like to use it on the NB, but i fear it won't fit with the ATI in the first slot.
Since Asus is taking like forever to rma my mobo, and after month my patience is running out, i was thinking about getting this beauty.

Here you go - It works perfectly, same as the X38 and runs at a full 16x according to CPU-Z.

You still need an F6 floppy to have the SATA controller working native (non-emulation) with XP, right?
And can you set the bios to have a usb stick work as one?
Like in Asus motherboards?
Or the only option is either a real floppy or a custom XP install CD?

P.s.: Thanks for trying out the second PCIe slot for me
