DFI LT X48-T2R Lanparty Living Review.

Hello guys, I just got my LT X48, and I am real new to DFI, what to say the BIOS looks so complicated I dont get a hold on it I just read clunks DFi guides but still confused where to start with. I got a Q6600 that is good for 4.0ghz (450x9) with 1.48vcore , and 2x1GB ballistix 1200mhz 5-5-5-12 @ 2.05v @ PL5 on a Asus P35.
Is there any one that can be so kind to post me a complete setting to try for 450x9?, I just want to have at least/better ( I hope) I had on my P35 ( RAM wise). And what bios is the best so far for 65nm quads and what is the easiest ( best way) to flash the bios with a USB or a CDrom ?

Thnx, hoping having a great time here, well the thing is the Board atm got installed because of a new watercooling setup, but I left everything on Stock. Do u have a template for me, and could give me some settings to try plz Like above mentioned would like to run 450x9 , and i got a good set of ram that can do high mhz with low volts. If there is more info u needed please let me know.

If you run with a 450 FSB, the minimum DDR speed would be 900, wich may not require much vDIMM, but if you wanna go higher, i'm afraid you will need to use at least 2.1 V expecialy if you go over 1066.

Thnx for your help, but my ram can run for example 1200mhz 5-5-5-12 @ 2.05v @ PL5 ( 400mhz), sub 1200 with 5-5-4-9 requires les then 2.05v. I just want at least same performance or better then the P35 what other ram settings I should look for, I heared the PL on the X48 is loosend, what PL can I run on 450fsb and what other ram settings can boost the ram performance. What board did you use to run those DIMMs at those settings?
I ask because some boards will overvolt your ram compared to what you set in the BIOS, but if it's not your case then you got an excellent pair right there, lucky you

P5K deluxe/ maximus formula, ofc I need to re-test if they are capable on this board.

Those boards will overvolt your memory if i recall correctly ie you type 2.2 volts in the BIOS and you get more.
Anybody can conferm this?

My Maximus overvolted the memory by 0.9v

Maximus idd overvolts by 0.08 up to 0.10,
